A great man is one who, with his mind,
gifts, and abilities,
surpasses other people.
Who, like a bee gathering honey,
collects knowledge
and discovers something new.
But all of this
he crowns with love
for humanity,
to help it emerge
as quickly as possible
from misery and fear,
from hunger,
ignorance,
and disease.
Great are not those
who humiliate man,
but those who enrich
his spiritual heritage
and thereby help
his happiness.
