Although we do not have positive evidence
of the existence of charged bodies in space
without other oppositely charged bodies nearby,
I believe that Earth is precisely
such a body,
whatever the process may have been.
Earth was separated
from other bodies,
and this is the accepted view
of its origin.
It must have retained
its charge,
as happens in all processes
of mechanical separation.
To reach great distances in space
requires overcoming difficulties
of a purely
(mechanical nature).
