For the natural way is divine and,
Therefore,
Exclusively creative.
It lies in the understanding that the same natural
Conditions and methods determine
The same courses of events,
And this is what we call the
Cause-and-effect relationship among people.
Science is the conscious part of magical
Knowledge.
(It is humanity’s concept of how this
Operates in the present.)
Because the present is the only thing
We truly experience.
And finally, there is the future,
About which we know nothing with certainty.
It appears to us uncertain,
Chaotic,
And full of possibilities,
And we merely assume
That it will exist.
