About
My name is Djordjevic Slobodan.
I was born in 1967 in Macedonia, on the Balkan Peninsula.
I completed both primary and secondary school.
As a hobby, I write and study natural and scientific topics on an amateur level.
I have more than ten years of experience in amateur scientific research related to nature.
I specialize in explaining scientific subjects to a wider audience.
I always strive to make science engaging through inspiring life stories and clear, easy-to-understand explanations of important topics.
Over the years, I have written extensively, including on my own website and blog, focusing on natural and technical sciences for curious minds who want to learn more about the world around us.
I enjoy traveling and have visited almost all of Europe and its cities. The only countries I haven’t visited are the Scandinavian ones — Denmark, Norway, and Sweden — as well as Finland, which is often considered part of that cultural region. Scandinavia is known for its shared culture and traditions, and today these countries are among the most prosperous in Europe. I have also lived abroad several times during my life.
My popular science publications on my website and blog are sometimes historical in nature, such as biographies of Nikola Tesla, Milutin Milanković, and Mihajlo Pupin.
At times, I explain complex topics by transforming dry, technical language (for example, about climate change in nature) into a form that everyone can relate to.
Other times, I write in a more emotional and personal way, expressing my own original story.
Through my writing on natural and technical sciences, my mission is to contribute to the common good — for the benefit and well-being of all humanity and every person born on this planet Earth. 🌍
